Agro Dairy Donates Two Azerbaijan-Made Demining Machines to ANAMA
Two new mechanical demining machines produced under the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand by Improtex Industry Group of Companies have been donated to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) to strengthen humanitarian demining efforts in the liberated territories.
The official handover ceremony took place at the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition — ADEX 2024, held at the Baku Expo Center. The machines — “Revival P” (anti-personnel) and “Revival T” (anti-tank) — were donated by Agro Dairy, one of the country’s leading agricultural companies.
The event was attended by Bahruz Mammadov, First Deputy Chairman of ANAMA’s Board of Directors; Niyazi Amirbayov, CEO of Agro Dairy; Farid Abdullayev, CEO of Improtex Industry; alongside representatives of partner organizations.
During the ceremony, the delegation visited ANAMA’s stand at ADEX 2024, which showcased demining operations in the liberated territories, an interactive clearance map, tools and equipment, explosive ordnance samples, as well as a live simulation area.
In line with international standards, mechanical demining machines are used for detecting anti-personnel and anti-tank minefields, preparing areas for clearance, and supporting operations with mine detection dogs to reduce risks. At the conclusion of the ceremony, official certificates for the new machines were presented to ANAMA.
