The Annual General Meeting of the Azerbaijan Grain Producers and Processors Association (ATIEA) took place, focusing on the renewal of the Association’s governance structure, an in-depth assessment of the current situation in the grain sector, and the definition of key priorities for the forthcoming period.
The meeting brought together executives and representatives of leading grain production and processing companies, who engaged in comprehensive discussions on the sector’s main challenges, current and emerging market trends, logistics issues, and prospects for sustainable development.
In his remarks, ATIEA Chairman Niyazi Amirbayov highlighted the strategic importance of food supply to the country’s socio-economic development. He emphasized that achieving sustainable and long-term results in this field is possible only through coordinated cooperation between the public and private sectors, reaffirming the Association’s commitment to playing an active role in this process.

The meeting concluded with extensive discussions on proposals and existing challenges raised by members, resulting in the adoption of relevant decisions aimed at addressing these issues.
